Nothing is there to remove it besides Allah.
Allah, who has fixed a term for everything, has also fixed a term for the end of the universe. He has also inscribed in His Three-Time Knowledge Book, Adhikr, when and how it will happen. By teaching that Book to mankind, He has become Impartial. Then it is the duty of mankind to try to postpone the lifespan of the universe by utilizing Adhikr, which is the Balance and Trust, to keep the universe in its equilibrium. See explanation 27: 75; 35: 45; and 42: 17. When all mankind becomes transgressors by hiding and rejecting Adhikr, the world will be destroyed as explained in verse 46: 35. When there will be no forerunner who will go to Paradise in the world, Maseeh Addajjal, being one of the ten crucial signs of the Last Day, will appear as explained in verse 6: 158.
